USPS has an online price calculator that can help you figure out what your package will cost to ship. This takes into account the size, shape and weight of your package. Shipping normally takes two to eight business days, but it can take longer, depending on the destination and your location.


You can access and print USPS Media Mail labels from a home or office prior to shipment. You will need a postal scale with which to weigh your package first. Once the media is packed up and weighed, you will have to go through PayPal to print the label since USPS does not provide this service (their Click-N-Ship software is very useful for printing postage for other shipping services, but it does not support Media Mail at this time).

Direct Debit is the most efficient method for funding your USPS postage account. There is no fee for postage meter account reserve account payments through the Direct Debit program. Your funds will be available immediately when you purchase postage.


You will receive an email with an authorization form that must be completed and returned to postage@fp-usa.com. There is a 24 hour setup delay for the service to be available once we receive and process the signed form.


To fund your postage meter reserve account by ACH/Wire Transfer, please download the Wire or ACH Transfer of Funds form located on the postage support page and follow the directions provided. Please be sure to include your USPS Customer Identification Number (CIN) to ensure your funds are credited to your account as quickly as possible.


There is no fee for processing postage payments sent by mail. Funds should be available within 10-12 business days (check sent by First Class Mail) or 3-5 business days (check sent by Overnight Mail).


When logged into your account online simply select Credit Card or E-check as your payment method and carefully enter the requested information. Credit Card fees vary by the transaction value. eChecks have a flat $7.00 transaction fee. Your funds will be available immediately.

Simply enter a few details about your letter or parcel, choose a delivery option and pay for your postage. You can arrange to have your item collected and your postie can even bring your label. Or you can drop it off at a location near you. You can also get your postage printed for you by showing the provided code on your mobile device in a Royal Mail Delivery Office.

Once you pay for your postage and your order is processed, you will be directed to a confirmation page where a label will be generated which you can easily download and later print! If you wish, you can change your settings to match your preferred size and type of label which will be applied to every order.

This depends on each courier service, but they are typically generated for you when you purchase your postage. You can include them in your shipment to ensure your customers can return any parcels to you easily.


You do not need both to deliver a parcel in the UK. When you get a label online, make sure you purchase the required postage depending on the weight and size of your parcel, and delivery class, otherwise, it will simply be informational.

I've created an account named Postage Balance, as an Other Current Asset, detail type Prepaid Expenses. As I spend for postage online, how do I record that as a billable expense to a particular client project (and make sure that when I create an invoice for the project, that expense is billed on the invoice)?


However, as I said, I'm not paying the expense when it's incurred. I've prepaid Stamps.com, and when I incur postage charges, they deduct it from what I've prepaid. So, when I go to expense it to a client, I'm not paying anything from a checking, credit card, or cash account.


@JessT , further to my issue, after I created the faux checking account--Stamps.com (Prepaid)--and set the opening balance at the amount my online Stamps.com account had in it, I was able to easily create a billable expense that got charged to the designated client/project and got deducted from my QBO account Stamps.com (Prepaid).


You can create and manage UPS return labels through the return shipping service called UPS CampusShip. For UPS prepaid label generation, first select the Return To and Return From addresses, then the weight and dimensions of the package. UPS offers many return shipping options. 041b061a72
